What I liked

I liked that I had hands on teaching experience leading under served minority youth. It was incredible to see them light up as they got exposed to coding, robotics, and engineering some for the very first time.

What I wish was different

I wish that there had been a little bit more structure, because then the rules would have been more clear and everyone would have known what was expected students and mentors alike.

Advice

Definitely take part in this experience or something similar to it, teaching experience with today's youth is so critical because it gives you a feel for where this country is, how we are doing good and we need to focus on to improve and have better education for our students.
