I loved the hands off approach. I was left to my own devices to find projects or choose projects that had been given to me.
What I wish was different
More training. I had several programs and departments that I worked with and everyone had their own training they wanted me to complete.
Advice
Ask plenty of questions, make friends with all departments, and be persistent in what you want to participate in. Be patient with yourself because several people will think you have more experience than you actually do.

It would be wise to go in being flexible with both duties and hours. At Spudnik its all about producing more each month. And sometimes that means working weekends and coming in early.
