What I wish was different
Spotter is a growing company. It has been around for ten years, and is continuing to pick up pace in business growth and revenue. With that being said, at times, it has been a bit of a ride with management communicating clearly with employees. When I first arrived, for the first few months, there was a tangible distrust of some of the full-time employees toward management. Many felt like they couldn’t say the “wrong” thing, or there jobs could be jeopardized. This led to employees having a lot of negative vibes toward management. I would say this negative feeling or culture has been improved upon over the past year, but still lingers a bit. I have had a few very real moments when I’ve felt like I am disposable in their eyes when they are under stress with deadlines, and my school schedule doesn’t line up. However, overwhelmingly more often, I have felt needed and appreciated.
