I liked the fact that I was constantly working and involved in the everyday operations of the club. I got to see the members everyday and got to know most of them on a first name basis which really helped me build relationships with them.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been more involved from the beginning. It took me a few weeks to get comfortable and get settled in and I feel like that held me back in some aspects of the relationship making.
Advice
All job experience will help you with your career even if it does not directly apply to it, so don't be afraid to take on a new job that you know nothing about, because it will benefit you in the long run.
