What I liked

I learned and experienced more than I could have ever anticipated at Sports Backers. I was given a lot of freedom, but I also had specific goals to meet and expectations to follow as an intern. I was treated as an equal of the staff and the atmosphere was friendly, relaxed, and engaging. I loved going to work every day.

What I wish was different

I wish there were specific tasks I could do every day and more guidance, feedback, and clear communication from my boss throughout the summer. I did not officially get a "exit interview" and I wish I had!

Advice

Network the heck out of everyone you know. I got this job because of my friend's mom -- and it really made a difference.
