Spelman On-Campus Jobs

Data Science Intern

June - July 2020 • Atlanta, GA

What I liked

I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of instruction provided. I was able to learn from one of my favorite Computer Science professors at Spelman about Data Science and all of what it encompasses. I was able to attend career building lectures that provided opportunities to connect and network with companies like UPS and Dell and resume building workshops. Along with all of this, Spelman ensured we kept our minds right with Contemplative Practice course.

What I wish was different

Something outside of my control, the fact that it was remote.

Advice

Comparison is the thief of joy and always be open to change and opportunités regardless of what everyone else is doing in your major. Although I wasn’t able to have a technical experience, I learned a lot about Data Science and considered incorporating it into my career.
