What I liked
I liked that I got the opportunity to take on a contributing role in the newsroom. I wasn't just an intern working on my own independent projects and shadowing everyone else that was doing their job, I was actually trusted to write stories and build elements that were used in real news shows. The people I worked with were great to be around, they taught me a lot and were always willing to help me out or answer questions.
What I wish was different
I would consistently ask for feedback from people in the Newsroom and they always gave me good advice on how I can improve. However, I wish there would have been a more formal and structured feedback process.
Advice
Much like anything else you get out what you put in, so put in the effort and seek out knowledge.
