I appreciated that I could see the impact of the work I did for this internship. I was part of a team that maintained a garden at Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Culinary and Wellness Center as well as designed and created an outdoor classroom for MPS students to come and learn about sustainability. Spark-Y did a good job of supporting independent decision making skills on the part of interns and I appreciate that my work will have an impact on the lives of MPS students and my community.

What I liked
I liked how I was able to see a completely new side of business. It was a great experience where I learned a lot about how small non-profits work.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to be compensated slightly more.

If you enjoy a hands on experience working in small groups, this is the internship for you.
