What I liked

The people that I personally sought out were brilliant, enthusiastic, and excellent teachers. There was a huge focus on the agile and scrum methodologies which was exactly the experience I needed. What I liked outside of this focus was the autonomy involved. I had enough 'intern time' on my hands to reach out to some of the brightest minds in the office and gain incredibly helpful advice from hearing about their experiences.

What I wish was different

The hourly wage could have been better. They don't expect much from their interns which is why I think it was such a low wage but personally, I think I worked beyond 14 dollars per hour.

Advice

Their intern program is not very structured. It is entirely possible to look busy for the entire 10 weeks while in fact, only watching netflix and listening to podcasts. If this is a temptation you can see yourself succumbing to, I wouldn't recommend this internship. This company simply doesn't pay enough to be worth that kind of minimal gain from the experience. In order for this internship to be worth it, you must be motivated to seek out the beneficial information you desire from the office.
