I am a biology major and a double minor in history and Spanish. I decided to take a job here in the ED in hopes that with my degree and a masters program I can become a ED Physicians Assistant. With this in mind, I took a registration job in the ED in order to experience the environment of an ED. Now that I have learned the registration/business part of working in an ED, I am beyond excited to start practicing medicine in the next few years as I am a sophomore now. I highly recommend starting a job a your preferred field of work before entering it. For me, this ensured that I do want to work in an ED as a Physicians Assistant.
