What I liked

I love the support I get at Sound. Everyone I have met has been extremely supportive and welcoming. I feel comfortable asking questions and gaining clarification on projects. My team makes me feel safe, valued, and that my voice is being listened to. I have a good work-life balance. They have taught me a tremendous amount so far and have provided an exceptional work environment.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more free parking on-site.

Advice

Ask lots of questions and push yourself to learn more. Because this is an internship, I think it's important to make your time here valuable and to learn as much as you can from the people around you.

Community Relations Ambassador

What I liked

The team was amazing! I enjoyed going out to the community and meeting new people. Not only that, being independent and choosing what promotional items we should order for our summer events was a great learning experience. You really learn how everything works behind the scenes.

What I wish was different

The only thing I wished was to have different shirts. Sometimes we had events back to back and these events would be 12 hours so we wouldn't have enough time to rest and wash our uniform.

Advice

Be creative! Sometimes its good to bring classic promotional items back!

What I liked

I like how supportive and educational this internship is. Not only am I learning a lot but having a lot of fun with this team! I wanted to have an internship that was interactive where I felt like I was getting experiential learning and that is exactly what I found here.

What I wish was different

I quite literally could not have asked for this internship to be more conducive to what I was looking for! I guess if I had to choose something I would wish that the office wasn't as freezing but having blankets at our desks is quite funny!

Advice

If you are worried about taking an internship while going to school this is the place to do it! Sound works with you to make sure that you are a happy and comfortable employee while you also learn so much. Go for it!

I LOVED my time here at Sound! I worked as BA under the EMPO and one thing about Sound is the growth opportunities. Everyone is willing to sit down with you and help. Though I came in with no experience in Project Management, both of my mentors took the the time to teach me the principles, and trusted me with certain projects. I also enjoyed learning from senior management in our Friday meetings
