What I liked

I liked the ability to have interpersonal interactions with customers every day, and I enjoyed making the different kinds of drinks. I also enjoyed leading my crew and overseeing the success of the crew during my shift.

What I wish was different

I wish that we had better managers that cared about the well-being of the crew. The managers I encountered were over-bearing, verbally abusive, and had horrible tempers with the crew members and sometimes even with customers.

Advice

I would encourage people applying to be ready to have their patience tested and to try and be open to the idea of interacting with all different kinds of people. You'll have to accommodate to all kinds of customers and co-workers, and patience and adaptability are traits that will make the job a lot easier and less stressful.
