Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the exposition of Scripture and personal relationships in order to equip the Church to impact this generation.
Snowbird, located in western North Carolina, is committed to being a high-adventure student camp focused on making disciples through personal relationships, in a ministry context that is grounded on the authority of Scripture. Our year-round discipleship weekends and 11 weeks of summer camp serve nearly 11,000 campers annually. Snowbird now operates with a 50-member year-round staff, Including the Snowbird Institute — a year-round program created to equip college-aged students to become more mature disciples of Christ and advance the spread of the Gospel to the nations. During the summer season, Snowbird hires an additional 120 college-aged adults to serve as small group leaders and recreational staff. The Lord continues to grow the ministry of Snowbird and by His grace, we will continue to make disciples through preaching the Bible expositionally and building personal relationships.
