The SA office was amazing to work in. The office environment fostered creativity, learning, and teamwork. I got to be engaged with different branches of the Smithsonian with this position.
What I wish was different
I don’t want to change anything. I knew going in that it would be a 7am-7pm job with high stakes, stress, and a lot of responsibility.
Advice
This internship wasn’t entirely in the department I want to end up in after college but it showed me what I do want to do. Even if you only like part of an internship description, it’s still worth taking and learning from.
