I enjoyed the freedom given by supervisors when it comes to accessing resources, deciding the best development strategies, and working across Data Science, Database systems, and software engineering. The company also had an amazing office space and people I was always looking forward too seeing when going to work.
What I wish was different
There were sometimes the current development platform had bugs and created blocks in my projects. At the same time, I usually had 3 concurrent projects to work on, so waiting for bugs to be solved did not make me waste my time.
Advice
You never stop. There is no "wasted" time in the day, and it takes a lot of energy to go through a week. The satisfaction and feedback from everyone else, along with how much one learns, is what makes it worth it.
