I was able to apply for infant teacher and work in the infant room. I loved working with newborns up until the age of one.
What I wish was different
The school I worked at was always under staffed. I would work overtime with no breaks. I would be pulled out of the infant room and put in another room where I had no idea what to do.
Advice
Make positive relationships with your coworkers. When the job gets tough, you’ll need someone to lean on who understand what you’re going through.
