The office environment is extremely friendly and everyone who works there is fun and welcoming; people are responsive and helpful if you ask questions about tasks or ongoing programs, grants, etc. The atmosphere around the office is casual and friendly, and you don't have to take work home with you, which is a huge advantage as a college student.
What I wish was different
I wish I could work on more GIS-related tasks or projects; some of the filing procedures are long and tedious, but nothing that isn't too bad--everything is very manageable.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help or request projects or tasks that truly interest you.
