SLANG Global is an innovative nonprofit organization with a mission to promote cross-cultural understanding, language learning, and empowerment. With a focus on the Spanish language and cultures, we facilitate programs that foster awareness and understanding of the Spanish-speaking African Diaspora of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Based in both North Carolina, USA, and Enugu, Nigeria, our organization serves as a hub for intercultural and educational exchanges between Nigeria and the Afro-Latin Diaspora. We believe in the power of cultural immersion and strive to create transformative experiences that bridge continents and foster global connections.
Through our programs, we empower women and girls in the Igbo-speaking regions of Nigeria, providing educational opportunities and platforms for personal and professional growth. We believe in the transformative power of education and work towards creating a more equitable society.
