What I wish was different
There is no training, at all. They rarely have any work to give you. Your skills will waste away if you stay here very long. This makes it even harder to leave.
Personally, I was treated more as a secretary than an engineer. It was a regular occurrence that I was in a meeting where I had to sit in silence, because they were only speaking Korean. This happens throughout the office, and makes it nearly impossible to learn & join conversations.
