What I liked
What I really like about working at Six Flags is the people I work with. All of my co-workers turn Six Flags into a positive environment and a job I want to be working every day. I also like that Six Flags in a learning environment, I feel comfortable asking questions and learning more about the theatre profession which I adore. I love getting paid to do what I love and have fun!!
What I wish was different
Honestly, the only thing I wish would have been different was my availability. Due to my crazy schedule filled with family vacation and two out of town weddings, I did not get to work as much as I would have liked to!
Advice
One piece of advice I would like to share about my experience is to always ask questions. Do not miss out on learning opportunities and leave a situation that will cause a problem later. Instead, ask and fix the problem when you learn about it!

The internship was so much more than making copies and fetching mail. We actually learned HR and how to train people and process and interview them. We were very involved with almost every aspect of the HR office.

I wish we had been able to experience more of the negative situations with suspended team members and guest complaints.

It was a fine summer job with plenty of hours.

I wish that some of the systems were more effective, but it was fine. And the head of the games department is completely out of touch with his employees and the park he helps run.
