The impact I am having on the community is phenomenal. We visit 20 community gardens in parts of Shreveport that are considered food deserts (there is no fresh produce within five miles of the residents in these parts of town). I love how thankful everyone is for our hard work in building and maintaining the vegetable beds.
What I wish was different
We do enrichment every month, but we have no say so in where we go or what we do, so I wish we could provide input.
