sales associate

July 2019 • Audubon, PA

What I liked

A very fun experience that led to many entertaining and informative encounters.

What I wish was different

I personally wished that there was more consistency in how managers treated their part-timers. Practically all of my managers in the past have been pretty nice except for one and I just want to know how they got through whatever screening was done.

Advice

Be very aware of how the employees talk about their managers more notably the part-timers to have a better sense of what kind of environment you are getting yourself into.

What I liked

The skills I improved on the most are my communication skills and selling skills. I gained a lot of beneficial experience you could use at practically any job or other aspects of your life.

What I wish was different

I wish I did something that was more of a corporate setting but if being in the stores is what you want it’s perfect!

Advice

It is the perfect stepping stone of internships. If you’re nervous to start one, this one is the right one to start with.
