I liked the immersive experience of working there. Since it was a fairly small office, I made personal connections with everyone and I was able to ask questions and learn about immigration law quickly and comfortably.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to work on more cases. Sometimes I would get some interesting cases to work on, but usually most of them were generic.
Advice
I would say that it always pays off to ask questions. Even if you feel like it is a dumb question or you feel like you are annoying the other employees, it is better to ask and learn before you make a mistake.
