What I liked

I have been able to learn and apply multiple interpersonal and communication skills with this company. There has always been someone to help with any questions I may have and guide me in the right direction. Generally, the environment has been upbeat and friendly and I have felt comfortable working here. I'm still learning, but I have had the opportunity to attend multiple networking events and meet with other managers of prestigious companies. I can't wait to see where this opportunity takes me after graduation!

What I wish was different

The location is a bit far for me since I take public transit, but I just deal with it. Maybe when they move on with the expansion it will become a more convenient commute for me.

Advice

Whether you come on as a Marketing or HR Intern, it does require a certain amount of dedication. Whether to the company or your future career, this dedication is something you have to put forth. It may be longer hours or more studying, but if you put effort into it you will grow more quickly than other in the company.
