I loved the people at Shamiri. While I was an intern, they still understood that I was still a learn. They were very patient with me as I worked on my pre-assigned projects and my supervisor was always available to help me when I hit a snag. I learnt a a lot of industrial technical skills that I hadn’t picked up at school.
What I wish was different
I wish Shamiri could have a robust onboarding process that could help the interns get acclimated to the day-to-day work Shamiri does in its different departments.
Advice
Always strive to get to your stretch zones, only then will you learn and become better. I wish to thank Shamiri for enabling me reach my stretch zones and as a result made me learn a lot of imperative technical skills.
