I worked with special needs adults, I liked the new experience
What I wish was different
The employee turn over. A lot of the people I went through orientation with didn't last 3 weeks. I feel like either the job was not explained thoroughly or we misinterpreted exactly what the job entailed.
Advice
Ask questions, you don't know unless you ask. Asking questions doesn't take anything away from you, but if you mess up because you were to afraid or to proud there in lies the problem.

Physical Therapy Aide Internship

I like the fact that the employees of the company respected the interns, and were willing to teach us how the company works even though they were not required to do so

I wish the internship started a lot earlier in the summer

Be open minded to learning new things even if it’s out of your comfort zone
