The peoples were wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. The program was an interesting deep dive into agricultural processing with an overarching thesis project and some day-to-day projects.
What I wish was different
Due to being part of the inaugural internship program, some of the structure and organization was not optimum. In future iterations, I'm sure the program will only get better.
Advice
Be ready for a high degree of freedom and autonomy within the projects you work on. Also be sure to talk with others about their experiences and advice - they are all incredibly helpful and nice!
