What I liked

Sendik's is a friendly, low-stress work environment, especially in the home/floral department. I nearly always had enough tasks where I could keep busy, but few were time sensitive so I was rarely stressed-out or rushed. Management is accessible and genuinely cares about employees. I enjoyed the local feel of Sendik's and the ways that it interacts with the community, such as through their cookie sale supporting the Veteran's Honor Flight.

What I liked

I worked in the floral department. It was nice to work with flowers everyday and be creative. I also was able to tend to plants and make sure they were healthy and able to be sold to customers. Also, interacting with customers can be challenging but also rewarding.

What I wish was different

I wish that it had been busier than some days to help make the shifts go by faster.

Also be kind and smile at customers. It can go a long way.

What I liked

Just about everyone I worked with was personable and friendly, the schedule was incrediblt flexible and accommodating, and the work was reasonable.

What I wish was different

The only thing that one could really ask for would be a slightly better feeling of communication and organization within management, the current situation was not bad at all, but still could have certainly been room for improvement.
