I was able to make my own hours throughout the week. I learned a lot about how campaigns work. We gained experience speaking with voters and writing press releases.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to work more on press releases. I did not particularly enjoy making phone calls to the public since they did not enjoy receiving calls.
Advice
I recommend political campaign interning if you want to gain more experience in the political realm. I am a political science major and it has helped me grasp the election process better.
