I liked that no one was limited to just one role, often times we would be working in the field but also get to work on social media or planning events. This allowed us to gain experience in multiple different areas.

Public Relations Intern
May - November 2021 • Schaumburg, IL
What I liked
Job offered lots of freedom to create and management was always open to new ideas. Was nice to work outside with the youth athletes as well working on PR/marketing activities online. Great group of management and coworkers too.
What I wish was different
More hours would have been nice, tough to get 40 hours a week. Usually high 20s to low 30s.
Advice
Be eager to learn and get involved as much as possible, there's a lot to get out of this internship!
