I was given responsibilities and tasks that pushed me. My opinion was valued and I didn't feel like I was doing grunt work all the time. I had great opportunities to learn and try new things. I also got to apply what I had learned in school, as well as add on to it. The pay was pretty good too. My boss was super easy to get along with and genuinely cared about his interns. Also the office they chose was right next to the frontrunner station so that we could commute there really easily!
What I wish was different
I wish that I had more time. I learned a lot while working for this company.
Advice
Take every opportunity to learn. My boss was very good about taking the time to teach us. Any opportunity to learn a new coding language, method, or anything, do it. It's also valuable to talk to as many people as you can. In the business that I want to go in, everyone seems to know almost everyone. Networking is a big part of the jobs you get, or will get in the future.
