I loved observing the engineering processes and learning how products were made. Everyone I worked with was encouraging and trusted my judgement -- this made me feel respected. I also loved the monthly female engineering lunches!
What I wish was different
I wish I could've focused on a few large projects instead of many small ones. This was a bit tricky to keep track of.
Advice
Be yourself around coworkers right from the start. Don't be intimidated by their age or experience. You were hired for a reason!

Intern Process-Engineer
May - August 2018 • Duryea, PA
What I liked
The people there were great to work with and if I had a question there was almost always someone who I could ask.
What I wish was different
I wish they had trusted me with a bigger project or at least let me assist with something bigger. I felt like the R&D work I did there was not very significant
Advice
Make friends with the other interns there are some fun things to do in the area if you have a good group of people

Human Resource Benefits Intern
May 2018 • Elmsford, NY
What I liked
I liked being apart of multiple projects. I was able to be a project coordinator for all of the Health Fairs across the United States. The job is very flexible and accommodating to your schedule. They included all interns from all departments in their quarterly meetings which made me feel like I was apart of the company.
What I wish was different
I wish that there was a job opportunity at the end of the internship but since the corporate office is very small they have a hard time turning over their interns into permanent employees.
Advice
Never be afraid to ask questions at an internship that is what you are there for to have a learning experience.
