What I liked

I enjoyed the balance between being a leader and a follower that I experienced in this position. As an assistant teacher, I was ultimately following the guidelines of the main teacher, but I also had to handle conflicts on my own and be responsible for dealing with new and unfamiliar situations.

What I wish was different

I would not change the experience. I enjoyed it and learned a lot from it the way it was.

Advice

I encourage people to try jobs in a variety of fields to see what type of work they enjoy doing. Even if a certain job does not seem like it's up your alley, you will definitely find certain aspects of the job enjoyable and you will discover what type of tasks / assignments you do not enjoy as much.
