I really enjoyed the environment of the workplace. I found that during my internship, I encountered extremely intelligent and remarkable employees. Everyone that I worked with was super nice, helpful, and willing to offer advice.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was a little longer. I would have liked to work more in the estimating department.
Advice
Do not be afraid to introduce yourself. You never know what opportunities might arise if you are friendly. Also, make the most of the internship. Asking questions to your higher-ups for the summer allows you to learn more, and it allows you to learn more about a position you may be interested in working in one day.

Construction Management Intern
June - August 2019 • Ridgefield, CT
What I liked
I liked the work environment. The company made everyone feel like they were part of a family. It made everyone want to work harder and more willing to put in the extra work when it was needed.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have started earlier in the summer.
Advice
Attention to detail. As the youngest person in their program (rising junior, the rest were rising seniors) I did not possess all of the technical knowledge that they had. I made up for it with hard work. I was recognized for my hard work, punctuality, and willingness to stay late over the other interns.
