What I liked
I loved how this job exposed me to a variety of Marketing sects (Communications, Campaigning, Social Media, & Publicity/PR). My manager had me set up meetings with different directors and this is how I was able to network with other departments. I enjoyed this part of my internship the most because I was able to ask the directors questions such as, "how did you get from college to Save the Children?", "what is your function at Save the Children?", and "what do you like most about your job?". Asking these questions helped me narrow down what I want to pursue with marketing.
Also, I enjoyed working on projects where I could utilize my creativity. These projects involved putting together Digital Content Collections, and constructing the Content Corner of the "Weekly Word" (Save the Children's newsletter).
