Developer Intern

May - August 2021 • Cary, NC

What I liked

The company was really supportive, even after finishing my internship they reached out to me and are curious about my journey. During my time there, my team really focused on my personal development over a deadline. It really felt like a family.

What I wish was different

I was the only intern on my team. I often felt lonely at work because we were remote and my team members were mostly on the older end. I did not have much interaction with other interns.

Advice

Talk to everyone! Every employee at SAS is so welcoming and willing to help you with anything!

Flight Operations Intern

May - August 2020 • Cary, NC

What I liked

SAS demonstrates amazing company culture throughout the organization. Within Flight Operations in particular, they are so incredibly welcoming, experienced, and professional, and I was so lucky to be a part of their operation.

What I wish was different

Although my internship this summer was primarily virtual, this was an unavoidable element and the Intern Team did everything they could to make the experience great for all interns.
