Founded in 1999, San Diego Children's Discovery Museum is the only children's museum in North San Diego County, serving children up to age 10 with hands-on exhibits and programs focused on science, world cultures, and art. The Museum inspires children to learn through exploration, imagination, and experimentation. Most exhibits are designed and fabricated onsite, with new exhibits added each month. Approximately 160,000 visitors are expected in 2018.
