Ability to learn how a small business operates, gives interns the ability to learn many different aspects of business due to the small nature.

Advice
Experience a field you are interested in, even if you are taking a small pay cut or the internship is unpaid. If there is room for growth you will learn new skills to add to your resume and be able to move up in the company/industry.
