Salem is a thriving southern NH community bordering Massachusetts. The Salem Police Department is a growing agency with plenty of opportunities. We currently employ 70 full-time sworn officers and 20 part-time officers. Our Officers cover all areas of the Law Enforcement community including the Southern NH Special Operation Unit, K9 Unit, Motor Cycle Unit, Criminal Investigations, and Community Service Units.
