Summer Scholar

May - September 2019 • Philadelphia, PA

What I liked

I loved the independence of the research. I worked on a project that I cared a great deal about and got to do my analysis in a way that fit my skills best.

What I wish was different

More guidance. Coming from not too much research experience it was tough figuring out things on my own but I think the freedom taught me a lot and being thrown sort of into the unknown was growing experience.

Advice

Finish your literature review as soon as possible. The quicker that is done, the sooner you are an expert on your topic and can get to analysis.
