What I liked the most about this internship is that the team was always so welcoming and open to any questions/help. It was also really good to have a mentor that guided me along the way of completing my projects.
What I wish was different
Personally, I wouldn't change a thing about this experience, but I know there is always room for change, so I will say that I wish the integration of the engineering and logistics interns would have been better.
Advice
Don't hesitate to ask questions! Specially if this is your first internship, it is okay to not know everything, there is always there to help or guide you in the right direction!

R&D Packaging Engineer
June - December 2017 • Richmond, VA
What I liked
The Co-op manager/Boss is a really great guy and is extremely into giving you the most opportunity to meet new connections and visit all types of packaging related plants. Also got to travel the country a bit for trials which is awesome.
What I wish was different
I personally wish there was more Design work using CAD programs but its a co-op so i don't know how much you can expect that anywhere.
Advice
Richmond Virginia is an awesome place and you will definitely find a lot to do outside of work.
