Lab Assistant

October 2017 - May 2018 • New Brunswick, NJ

What I liked

I enjoyed getting hands on experience working in a research lab with lab rats. Working in different fields opened my eyes to see what I like doing and not doing.

What I wish was different

Lab work is slow and sometimes can be a bit boring. I wished that I was able to do more and handle the rats more to gain more experience.

Advice

Always try working in different fields and in different settings. You will never know what you like/don't like. I found out I don't particularly like working in a lab, but really enjoy working at a zoo!
