“Running Start is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that trains women to run for office. I enjoyed being part of a mission that I truly believe in myself. I was able to learn about political campaigning in the US and got to work on important soft skills such as networking and public speaking. I also had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Congresswoman Lori Trahan and talk, first hand, about how she addresses the needs of her constituents. Overall, I loved the office environment and got to learn a lot from the powerful women who head the organization.”
