Everyone on staff was very friendly and the work was straightforward with opportunities for innovation (I got to pitch a marathon and create graphics for it when it was approved). They were open to my ideas and I got to make creative decisions every day. I also got to build my own schedule. My supervisor was so kind and knowledgeable and she set up a meeting for me with an animation producer because I was interested in that -- I really felt like everyone wanted me to succeed and did their best to make the internship enjoyable and enriching.
What I wish was different
Occasionally episodes were uploaded day before/day of premiere which made scheduling difficult, but no one held that against me and they were working to fix it.
Advice
Make sure to keep detailed notes of weekly assignments; there were a lot of small tasks that made a large difference.

Live Action Post Production Intern

What I liked
I've loved the content that this company has produced for years, so being able to work in the environment where I would be having a hand in working with content that others would find fun, funny, and entertaining, just I have all these years, was an amazing experience. I loved being surrounded by and working with people who were willing to help and give advice whenever asked. The projects that I worked on were fun, and every project had a different learning experience.
What I wish was different
There was honestly nothing that I wish were different; the internship went incredibly smooth and I had an amazing experience.
Advice
Ask questions. You're an intern that wants to learn, so ask questions and people who work there will be willing to answer and give advice to you.
