Hands-on experience. Very friendly work environment, and very challenging.

Advice
Try to meet as many people as you possibly can. The more connections you establish, the better.

What I liked
My team and manager were and still are supportive and give me enough responsibility to make the internship feel more like a real full time job. I was able to contribute to any project I was interested in and did not feel like I couldn't ask a question when I did not know or understand something. The office and the people working at the company are friendly and willing to help, and the summer intern events are great opportunities to network with other departments in the building and fellow interns.
What I wish was different
I wish there were even more intern events. Otherwise, nothing - everything was perfect.
Advice
Take your position and make it your own. You can only work on projects you are interested in if you ask. Be a self-starter and try to figure things out yourself first before asking for help. Coming to your manager with finished work showing you had taken initiative to figure it out yourself shows you are responsible and ready to get your hands dirty. Don't be afraid to reach out to other employees and connect.
