I liked working with the students and being able to create my own materials to assist in educating the students.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked longer hours and more often.
Advice
I would say that remembering everyone has different interests can be overwhelming when incorporating it into your teaching styles, but it is possible.

What I liked
I loved that my schedule was super flexible and that we had a lot of and respect for each other. It was smooth sailing especially with COVID and it did not feel a lot like work. There were some great people that worked there and it made the job more fun and at ease. It was a great way to get experience in the education field.
What I wish was different
I wish that COVID didn't exist because it would have been better if the program could have been expanded. I honestly do not have any complaints because it was the perfect job for me this summer. I loved every second of it and I miss it a lot.
Advice
One piece I would like to share about this experience if someone were to apply is be prepared to have your energy spent. It is one of the most rewarding jobs out there and you have to give it your all to make it the best. Make sure to make the students feel loved and be there for them even through weird circumstances because being with you is "semi" normal.
