What I liked

I love the amazing example of leadership set by our youth pastors and my fellow small group leaders. Rivers Crossing is dedicated to bringing Jesus to our future generations and it shows. I have learned so much and have been given the opportunity to learn even more with additional training at no cost to me. There is a difference between a place for youth and a youth group. Tribes at Rivers Crossing goes above and beyond to create a youth family.

What I wish was different

I honestly can not think of anything I would change about this experience.( I do wish this review was a little clearer in identifying this venue as a volunteer position.)

Advice

Listen, listen, listen! Even if you bring years of experience to the table, which I do, there is always so much more to learn. Regardless of age, everyone has a unique perspective that will be valuable to your personal growth. By keeping my mind and my ears open I have been blessed with learning opportunities from everyone I've met.
