Taking my time, and being on my own schedule made me feel very spoiled, yet I was able to get all my work done in a timely manner. There was no need for me to commute (I commute everyday to RIT regardless) wasting at least 2 hours a day driving. I felt productive, and trusted too-having to document my hours.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish that had been different is working off-site when coming back for the fall semester!
Advice
I was not required to stay on site through the duration of the summer work. Although working with a large amount of people is very fun and rewarding itself, I have to say that the experience was quite liberating. All I had to do was wake up, grab my computer, do my work, and document my hours.
