What I liked

My favorite part about working at RingCentral was how informal and familial the environment was. Although we were all busy, our team would make it a priority to meet at least twice a week outside of actual productive meetings to share what we were all working on and chat. Everyone was also always willing to help others.

What I wish was different

The only thing I really wish had been different is the duration. The 10 weeks flew by and before I knew it the internship was over. I did have the opportunity to extend my internship but with the demands of school, I decided it would be best if I focused all my attention on my studies.

Advice

The best piece of advice I could give is don't be afraid to ask questions and be yourself. This will help you down the line so much as it lets your peers know where you are at and it creates a level of intimacy that makes future questions or conversations easier.

What I liked

I loved the opportunity to work in a corporate business. RingCentral did a great job with inclusion in team meetings, assigning real world projects, and openness to problems or questions.
