The work environment is business casual and neck-ties are not required. I have been exposed to many types of projects which greatly enhanced my engineering skills. My coworkers are friendly and always ready to help if I have any issues. My supervisor is approachable and really cares about the development of employees. The office location is super convenient for commuting.
What I wish was different
This has improved over time but I would like more work that is focused on environmental engineering principles since that is my degree program. They listened and have put me on a wastewater treatment design project which has been a great learning experience.
Advice
Be willing to go outside your comfort zone. Work will come your way that you haven't seen before so don't feel overwhelmed or incapable of tackling it.

What I liked
The hands on experience has grounded a lot of the theory I learned in school. I can now apply my knowledge to a variety of problems/projects.

Advice
Any internship is worth the time. Especially if you are able to count it as an elective credit (like I did). Get out of your comfort zone and try new things and don't be afraid to ask questions.
